It's been over a year since Hugo left us. He was more than a friend. When you create such strong ties with someone from another country, from another continent, learning of their death without being able to be present is difficult. There is only on the networks that I could discuss with him. Our friendship was very strong. Hugo took me as a model for his characters, but I don't have his talent for taking him as a model. Hey Sal, I just heard about you passing and I’m so heartbroken. Your art inspired me for years, ever since I first saw your animations on YouTube. I will always remember how kind and supportive you were when we talked. You were truly a talented individual that we will miss so much.
